Big Brother & Big Sister

Pada hari Jumat, 29 Februari 2008 lalu, Lazuardi Cordova GIS mengadakan kegiatan Big Brother & Bis Sister, yang diagendakan pelaksanaannya dua kali dalam satu tahun. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempererat keakraban antar siswa dan menghindari timbulnya senioritas antar

Pada kegiatan ini siswa dipasangkan dengan adik/kakak kelas untuk melakukan suatu aktivitas bersama. Kali ini aktivitas yang dilakukan adalah melengkapi gambar yang telah disiapkan guru. Adik-adik TK dan Pra TK berpasangan dengan kakak-kakak SD melengkapi gambar dengan tema “Kehidupan di Laut” dengan tehnik merobek bebas, menempel, menggambar, dan mewarnai. Acara ini berlangsung di lapangan basket mulai pada pukul 09.30 WIB dan sampai pukul 10.30 WIB. sebagaian besar siswa mengikuti acara tersebut dengan sangat antusias, beberapa bahkan sudah sangat menantikannya sejak jauh hari.

Acara diakhiri dengan kakak SD mengantarkan kembali adik-adik TK kepada gurunya dan memberikan pelukan sayang .

Home Sweet Home

Home sweet home is a wise word for everyone in this world. People really love to have a happy family. Our family is the precious thing in the world. We learn a lot from the family. That’s why on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 Grade 2 Comet visited a student’s home to learn many things from his family. It is Abim’s family. It is located on Taman Villa Meuya Blok F3 No. 21. Abim is the youngest son of Mr. Jajat Sudrajat and Mrs. Rita Zahara.

The students arrived at Abim’s house at 10.15. His family welcomed them warmly. They were pleased to enjoy the comfortable room, and amazed at the stairs. Hmmm, it is very unique because there are some books on each step of the stairs. Abim’s Parents said that they want their children love books. Book does not only put on the bookcase but the most important thing is read and acquires it.

At Abim’s house, the students had a touring around his house; entered his bedroom, his sister’s bedroom, his living room, and his dining room. They also looked about his family’s photo album, enjoyed chicken noodles and Abim’s presentation in playing the piano, and had games about family members, the special events in the family, the right and responsibility of children and parents. “Oops.. So we still studying Social Studies here?? Girls grade 2 asked. “Of Course, my dear, we can learn everywhere and I want us to get meaningful thing in every event,” teachers explained.

The students learned a lot from this home visit. They were very happy and very grateful to Abim’s family. Other students told that they want their house to be visited too someday. (Ms. Rainy)
